Hello, my name is John Simcoe, and aside from being a professional writer, I’m also an editor with more than 30 years of experience as an editor. In that time, I’ve worked as a newspaper editor, and I’m skilled in Associated Press style. More importantly, I’m all about making writing easy on the reader. I love cleaning up copy, finding a focus and helping a reader breeze through your words.
My experience includes literally thousands of newspaper articles, magazine articles and blog posts. Though I’m out of the newspaper business now, I’m still editing on a regular basis. Additionally, I am responsible for the tone and direction of several retail websites and social media accounts.
